Information: The Council’s budget allocated £20,000 for the 2013/14 financial year to each ward. The fund can be used by Councillors in their ward and can be used on supplementing funding for public services for the benefit of the community and capital schemes. The previous year’s unused budget has been carried forward to the current year. Councillors Green and Cox of Squires Gate Ward have requested £25,000 be released for the creation of a children’s play area to the rear of the Solaris Centre.
